Summer Music Night featuring the talented saxophonist and composer Thomas Hähnlein.
This Friday we’re hosting our second Summer Music Night, where chess and jazz enthusiasts can enjoy a unique blend of intellectual games and live music.
Thomas Hähnlein, known for his captivating improvisations and unique compositions blending traditional jazz with contemporary influences, will deliver an evening of rich melodies and soulful rhythms.
With a strong connection to Berlin’s vibrant music scene, Thomas has collaborated with notable musicians. He will be joined by Luca Curcio on bass and Ugo Alunni on drums, playing pieces from the Great American Songbook and chosen jazz standards.
Thomas and his ensembles were awarded numerous awards such as a first prize at "Wayne Shorter Wettbewerb", a promotion prize at "Hansjürg Hensler Wettbewerb" (Kempten), and a second prize at "Expression of Art Award" (Amsterdam).
