Bughouse Chess Lecture and a Tournament

Ready for some chess fun? Try Bughouse!

Have you heard of Bughouse Chess? It’s a super amusing version played with four players on two boards. The twist? Captured pieces are passed to your teammate to use on their board. It’s fast, unpredictable, and a blast to play!

Join us on October 26th for a lecture where we’ll explain the rules, and some strategies, and then jump right into a tournament so you can try it out! Afterward, stick around for some casual games if you’re up for it.

Daniel Denes and a crew of Bughouse experts (who’ve played for over 25 years!) will be running the event. They've played worldwide and even hosted tournaments with some top chess grandmasters like GM Johansson, GM Grandelius, GM Aronian, and GM Tischbierek.

We’re excited to grow the Bughouse scene here in Berlin - come join us for an entertaining evening of chess!
